Vendor Data Cleansing, Standardization & Enrichment

As part of Vendor MDM solution, we need to do data cleansing activities on few data elements of Vendor and Bank entities.

Data cleansing activities like, removing extra white spaces, special characters, removing additional characters will be handled based on the business need.

Data standardization activities like, using consistent format for date data, using the standard formats from reference data for various data elements and also using the standardized GEO data as reference data.

Vendor data can be enriched using various third party tools to increase the data quality.

BVD : is used to get most of the vendor specific information from trusted source. Based on vendor name and country, we can search in BVD source and if get the matched record we can prepopulate the required data elements from BVD source.

Address Enrichment Tool: Address enrichment tools like Address Doctor, Azure Maps, Google maps can be used to validate the address provided by the user.

Email & Phone Validation: We can use email and phone validation service to validate this communication information before we store it in Database.
