SMDS Vendor History Management Design
The SMDS Vendor Portal will have the capability to persist the history of all events for which data has been approved by the system. This will enable users to have complete visibility into the lifecycle of vendor data with field-level details on specific events such as additions, updates, and deletions.
This API will internally leverage a developed data difference library capable of estimating the state change of every field.
History will be persisted for all records once data has been approved by the application and is sent for publication to downstream applications to ensure the latest snapshot is available for users to view.
