Guidance for integrating with SMDS master data APIs and systems.

Getting started​

  1. Integration Access Guide – Architectural guidance for EMP, API, Database, and Datalake consumption
  2. Review the API Reference for available endpoints.
  3. Check authentication requirements in the relevant domain docs.
  4. Follow the integration patterns described in the developer guides.

Integration types​

  • Upstream – Systems that feed data into SMDS (e.g., ERP, procurement)
  • Downstream – Systems that consume SMDS data (e.g., analytics, AP)
  • Bulk – File-based or batch integrations
  • Real-time – REST API integrations
